Each year the Society of Friends of the Airborne Museum (VVAM) organizes lectures, theme days, excursions, walking tours and book fairs related to the Second World War. It also holds convivial evening get-togethers during which knowledge and experiences are shared.
The VVAM also organizes battlefield tours not only in the vicinity of the Airborne Museum, but also at other historic sites both in the Netherlands (Arnhem, Grebbelinie, Drenthe, and south-east Friesland) and outside the Netherlands (Normandy, the Ardennes and Hürtgenwald, near Aachen).
